When we came across the slimline flexible ferrous tape, it was the obvious choice by far.
The best option by far
We tried so many methods and materials for making the Pencil Mate, but once we’d tried the EVA foam, we knew it would be perfect to use, first because of it’s light weight, but also because of how fun looking and tactile it is.
The strongest neodymium magnets, provide the perfect weight to stayability ratio to ensure the Pencil Mate is strong enough to keep your pencil where you need it, but doesn’t add unnecessary weight to your pencil or your glasses.
The finished product
Finally, the rubberised plastic coating, available in a whole range of colours keeps the magnet secure and has a satisfying aesthetically pleasing texture, a bit like banana skin.
